The Founder Nei Boa Morte has being performing since he was Five years of age, pursued an extensive career teaching and performing dance in Brazil before migrating to Australia in 1995. He established Viva Brasil to promote Brazilian Dance, Music, Percussion and Culture.

Nei Boa Morte has been performing and teaching Brazilian Dance and Capoeira in Australia since his arrival. Mentored by Latin Dance Maestro, and good friend, ‘Professor’ Jose Prates, Nei dreamt of forming a professional dance troupe with the aim of showcasing Afro-Brazilian culture and heritage. He performed and toured with the world-renowned group ‘Bale Folclore da Bahia’ (Folklore Ballet of Bahia) - establishing the belief that Brazilian dance had international appeal.

Viva Brasil Productions has partners worldwide currently fulfilling this young man’s dream and the work he started.
